Uses of Granite
With improving technologies, it has become easier than ever to fabricate granite for your kitchen countertop, which is continually its most popular use. A wonderful way to enhance a fireplace is to place granite around it, as opposed to brick or other options. People use granite for mantles, hearths, and other surrounding pieces to provide a gorgeous combination with the view of the warm fire.
Due to its water resistance, granite is a welcome addition to any bathroom often being used as bath tub surroundings, vanities, or in walk-in showers.
Not only is granite water-resistant but it is also resistant to the elements when used outdoors around pools or hot tubs. Here, the granite is usually honed or mosaic to prevent slipperiness.
